Over the
last twenty five years Christians in Sport has pioneered a way of helping churches and Christians as they pray for sporting
friends, honour God in the way they play and say something of the good news of Jesus Christ.
In January
2004 Christians in Sport began implementing four priorities with the aim of seeing Christians in every sports club,
representing Christ and building the Church over the next five years, these being:-
(1) Motivating
Christians to represent Christ at their club
(2) Supporting
churches to prepare their sportspeople to represent Christ
(3) Training
leaders
(4) Enabling
the work through prayer, finance and operational support
